The Wasatch County Recreation Center is the heart of the community in the Heber Valley. With an astounding 138,000 square feet of recreational possibilities, there’s something for everyone at the rec. Forget bundling up for a cold run during the chilly Utah winters; take a jog on their indoor running track. Join one of their adult sports leagues, like basketball, spikeball, or volleyball. Fit in a game of tennis on one of their three full-size tennis courts. Play 18 holes at Pebble Beach without leaving the valley in their TruGolf golf simulator, or get your sweat on in one of their racquetball courts. The options are nearly limitless!
Do your cooped up kiddos need a warm place to burn off some energy over the long winter months? The rec center offers karate, gymnastics, futsal, basketball, and more. Even the littlest of your crew can get in on the fun. Bring your toddler and their bike or scooter every weekday morning from 10:00 to noon and let them get their wiggles out in a warm, safe environment.
Along with a wide variety of athletic activities available at the Wasatch County Recreation Center, there's also an array of health, art, and safety classes. You can get your concealed carry permit or hunter safety certification, take a course on healthy eating habits and stress management, and create cute decor for your home at their craft night.
Entry fees are just $3 for adults, $2.50 for kids, and $1 for seniors. Children under two are free. To rent one of their many athletic courts or register for one of their classes, check out their website wasatchparksandrec.com.
