Wasatch County has long been clambering for a public pool, and the new Wasatch Aquatic Center does not disappoint. The elegant new facility has floor to ceiling windows, three separate pools, spacious locker rooms, and ample seating for competitions, and lounging parents alike.
There’s something for everyone at the Wasatch Aquatic Center! If you’re looking to add a little extra oomph to your workout routine, jump in on their Master’s Swim Class. A coach will guide you through their planned workout and give you tips on your stroke technique. It’s an excellent way to build up your cardiovascular endurance without putting a lot of pressure on your joints. Their Boga Mat Yoga class will tighten your core and get your yoga poses Instagram ready. They also offer adult swim lessons, water aerobics, and water Zumba. Dancing in water is sure to get your heart rate up, and no one will notice if you miss a step.
But the best feature for the families in the Heber Valley is their activity pool. The shallow pool surrounding the water park is ideal for toddlers, while the deeper lap pool caters to older kiddos. Watch the kids play while you take a much-needed soak in their heated therapy pool, or splash along with the kids on the Wibit: an inflatable obstacle course.
