    Lola's Street Kitchen, Midway Utah

Lola's Steet Kitchen began as Heber Valleys' first food truck in September of 2015. They quickly became a lunch hot spot, with lines of locals looking to get their garlic fry fix. Lola's became a brick and mortar in July of 2018. Owner and chef Dave Medina has a truly family-owned and operated business that sets itself apart from the many restaurants that have popped up in the valley, with its organic, locally sourced ingredients, original sauces, and organic breads, rolls, and desserts made in house fresh daily by Dave's dad Greg. Dave's wife Mandy transformed what was a small burger and shake joint into a beautiful, cozy restaurant with a chalkboard menu, whitewashed brick walls, and twinkling fairy lights. She also keeps everyone abreast of Lola's daily specials and events on their social media pages. If you're lucky, you'll get to meet Dave's lovely mom Gloria, who sometimes works the counter.

This local gem offers a variety of burgers, salads, and sandwiches, along with daily specials like their chile relleno burrito and chicken tinga tacos. One of their most popular dishes is their sweet french steak salad: a perfectly seasoned cut of beef, avocado slices, heirloom tomatoes, and feta on a bed of organic greens topped off with Lola's own sweet french vinegarette. If salads aren't your beat, try their turkey avocado burger on a homemade potato roll. All their sandwiches and burgers come with their organic sweet potato or garlic parmesan fries and make sure to dip them in their original fry sauce. Lola's take on this beloved Utah staple might be one of the reasons Utah's slogan is Life Elevated.

Don't forget to order dessert! Along with a selection of cookies, and seasonally available treats like their delicious pumpkin whoopie pie, they also have carrot, chocolate ganache, and tres leche cake. Just like their breads, all their desserts are prepared in house with real ingredients.

Grab a bite at 24 East Main Street in Midway or catch their food truck at the local farmers market. Follow them on Instagram for daily specials @lolasstreetkitchen
